NIELIT Shillong has been collaborating with various schools and colleges spread across the state to spread IT education to the needy especially from far flung areas.NIELIT has been able to penetrate to almost all of the districts of Meghalaya with the help of various Institutions, Schools and colleges. NIELIT Course on Office Automation is being imparted in theses training locations and altogether 1500 students from SC/ST background have been trained till date. To Augment this initiative a meeting with Principals of schools, Colleges and Institutions have been successfully organised.
