• NIELIT Daman is inviting Expressions of interest (EOI) for “Employability Enhancement & Livelihood Training Program [EELTP] of SC/ST&
  EWS(Women) Youth through Capacity Building and Skill Development in IECT” Sponsored by MeitY, Government of  India, from AICTE approved institutions, professional bodies, and competent training institutes.

  The Project aims towards Capacity building/ Skill development of 2,615 SC/ST/EWS(Women) youths in IT and Electronics Sectors for enhancing their employability & livelihood in most SC/ST populous districts of States/UT (except NIELIT own Centers and District covered under Aspirational Districts project of MeitY). within the period of three years. Five districts in Gujrat state are chosen for this project namely Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Dahod, Surat, and Valsad.

  The last date to submit EOI is 31 Jan 2024.

• NIELIT Daman celebrated India's 76th Independence Day together with staff and students of Govt. Polytechnic Daman. Dr. Aruna Govada, IT Assistant Director hoisted the flag and Independence Day Message was given by Ms. Vimala Mathew, Director in Charge NIELIT.
