Welcome to NIELIT Daman, a newly set up NIELIT Centre located in the beautiful place Daman, the capital city  of Union Territory Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu.

NIELIT centre is set up at Daman with an objective to provide training programmes to enhance the employability of the youth through capacity building and skill development in the area of Information, Electronics and Communication Technology (IECT).

The Institute is being set up with state-of-the-art infrastructure for providing industry related courses in various areas of IECT and emerging technologies. Presence of NIELIT in Daman will play an important and crucial medium in providing opportunities and upliftment of the society as a whole by enhancing the employment opportunities.

UT of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu has ample scope and full of opportunities in IT & ITES and Daman being an educational hub under the UT.  The training programs offered by the NIELIT will yield professionally qualified industry ready personnel and entrepreneurs in the field of IECT. The qualifiers would be able to fetch good employment in the industry. Various levels of courses are being offered at NIELIT include

• Skill oriented, long term and short-term courses targeting engineering graduates, polytechnic diploma holders, graduates and students undergoing such courses. The areas of training including Web Development, Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Networking, Information Security, Digital Marketing, Internet of Things, Cloud Computing, etc.
• Corporate and customized training programs for Industry participants and officials of government departments.
• School students who would like to gain awareness in latest areas of IECT.
• The Institute is also a nodal centre for offering Digital Literacy and various NIELIT O/A/B/C Level Courses in Public Private Partnership (PPP) mode.

Presence of NIELIT in the Daman will play an important and crucial medium in providing opportunities and upliftment of the society as a whole by enhancing employability of the youth via capacity building and skill development in the area of IECT.
