Corporate Training to employees of West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited on Artificial Intelligence  & Machine Learning

A 20-day Corporate Training on Artificial Intelligence  & Machine Learning ( 60 Hrs) was conducted by NIELIT Kolkata at Salt Lake Campus for the employees of West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited ( WBSEDCL) from 19th February 2024 to 20th March 2024.

The program was inaugurated in the presence of Shri V. Krishnamurthy,  Executive Director , Shri Bhaskar Banerjee,  Scientist-D  & Coordinator  and other employees of the centre. In the inaugural session , the Executive Director highlighted the activities of Kolkata centre and motivated the participants to acquire higher skill and knowledge in the emerging domain.In the training sessions the participants were given in depth training on Machine Learning,  Deep Learning,  Computer Vision and latest AI tools on Object Detection  augmented with practical examples. The participants were given step-by-step  hands on experience on building an AI model for detection of Meter Reading through images. The training sessions were highly interactive and the participants appreciated the quality and methodology of training. 

The program was closed with a Certificate Distribution ceremony where Executive Director expressed deep interest in possible future collaboration and offered his best wishes for future endeavour.
