Capacity Building in ESDM Sector:

This project is being run by consortium of NIELIT Aurangabad, CDAC Hyderabad and NIELIT Chennai. This project is sponsored by DeitY, Govt. of India. The Major objective is to undertake the following activities for upgradating the competencies in Electronics Design and Production Technologies:

• Develop human resource at various levels including Certificate, Diploma, Postgraduate and Research professional with adequate competence levels.

• To launch short term / long term modular non formal courses in selected areas of specialization

• Upgrade the competence of working professional in Indian Industries

• Upgrade the knowledge and skills of faculty of technical institutions necessitating from high obsolescence of this area

Skill Development of Rural Masses:

This project is towards providing free training programme to SC/ST/Minorities and Women Candidates. This project is sponsored by DeitY, Govt. of India. The main objective of the project is empowerment of weaker section of society through skill development in IT, Electronics and ITES-BPO sector. It is being run in Maharashtra and Chattisgarh. Training is being provided in following areas:

• IT Skills

• Electronics Equipment Repair and Maintenance

• ITES-BPO (Customer Care and Banking)

Training & Certification of Panchayat Functionaries:

NIELIT Aurangabad is implementing a project towards training and certification of Panchayat functionaries and elected representatives of panchayats on NIELIT course on Basic Computer Course(BCC). BCC in the states of Maharashtra,Madhya Pradesh(MP), Chattisgarh, Damn & Diu, Dadara Nagar Haveli(DNH), Gujarat, Goa.

Skill Development of Army Jawans on CHM O-Level course:

NIELIT Aurangabad is running a project for skill development of Army Jawans sponsored by Director General (Resettlement), Ministry of Defence, Government of India. This project is for training Armed forces Jawans on CHM O-Level course conducted by NIELIT. The training of 40 Armed forces has commenced from 28rh April, 2014.

DGET OMR sheets based Data Processing Project:

NIELIT Aurangabad has won a project from Director General Employment and Training for processing of 25 lacs of OMR sheets of students appearing in their Semester based examination. 

NIELIT Aurangabad was entrusted to process the data related to OMR sheets of Central and Western India covering the States of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa, Daman and Diu and Dadra & Nagar Haveli. The project was executed onsite by setting up three Centres by deploying the teams to Jabalpur, Mumbai and Ahmedabad and successfully completed the work on target date.
