IT Based Skill Development Training Program for SC/ST

IT Based Skill Development Training Program for SC/ST candidates is a project sponsored by Department of IT & e-Gov, Govt. of Jharkhand and is being implemented by NIELIT Ranchi. This project is running in ten districts of Jharkhand listed below-

• GUMLA
• LATEHAR
• LOHARDAGA
• CHATRA
• DUMKA
• JAMTARA
• PAKUR
• SARAIKELA
• SIMDEGA
• RAMGARH

The training of candidates is conducted in the premises of the DC office complex in all the districts. The candidates are selected by the district administration after notifying the training program at the block level.
Under this project SC/ST candidates are provided training in three course modules given below-

1. Advance Diploma in Hardware, Networking and Information Security (ADHNS) with duration of 6 months (600 Hrs).
2. Computer Hardware, Networking & PC Maintenance Solutions with duration of 5 months (500 Hrs).
3. DTP, Web Page Development and Digital Photography with duration of 3 months (300Hrs).

The batch size of each course module is 20. A total of 600 candidates are to be trained under this project in ten districts.
