Executive Director, NIELIT-Chandigarh, Shimla, Kurukshetra and Ropar Centre visited NIELIT-Kurukshetra on 9 February 2017 to review the Centre’s ongoing activities.

During visit, NIELIT – Kurukshetra team briefed about meetings done with Haryana Government officers in context to inauguration and commencement of training activities. Team put up the training material prepared and provided the workshop details of D.C. office staff on implementation of digital payment system in Government departments.

In address, Executive Director advised the team to prepare the list of invitees, media personnel and other guests in advance and have at least one meeting with them. The team was also guided to concentrate on latest technologies especially Cloud Computing, Big Data and also work for digital literacy programs for masses. Sir guided the team to reach the masses and spread the role played by NIELIT towards IT literacy and capacity building of youths and Haryana Government officials.
