NIELIT has organized a half day workshop on Vigilance Matters and half day workshop on RTI Matters on 28th Jan 2014 at Aurangabad. The workshop was hosted by NIELIT, Auragabad and was attended by all VOs and PIOs of all 18 NIELIT Centres. Shri Krishnaji Bhoge, IAS(Retd.) was the Chief Guest of the Workshop. Dr. Ashwini Kumar Sharma, MD, NIELIT joined the workshop on VC and welcomed all the participants and invitees. Shri A.K. Balani, Sr. Director, DeitY and CVO, NIELIT , Shri S.D. Bhaviskar, DCP, Anti Corruption Bureau, Auragabad, delivered a lecture on Vigilance issues.

Shri Shameem Khan, Appellate Authority gave a presentation on RTI issues and discussed the steps to be taken for timely delivery of information and transmission of information between Appellate Authority and PIOs. Shri Swarup Dutta, CPIO, NIC and Shri Y.V. Raman, Scientist ‘D’ were invited as RTI experts and also gave presentation on Online RTI/Vigilance MIS developed by NIC. Shri Ranjan Maheshwari, Director, NIELIT Aurangabad chaired the panel discussions.
