Common Website of NIELIT and two other web applications (Centralized Student Registration for Short Term Courses and Online Expert Empanelment System) have been formally launched by Secretary, DeitY on 30 March 2016. The common website will be running as beta version (http://beta.nielit.gov.in) till 07 April 2016. After completion of the transition period, the complete switchover to the existing website (http://nielit.gov.in) will be effective from 08 April 2016 and the new common website will be the official website of NIELIT.
