NIELIT Centre ,Guwahati have started a week long "College Teachers Training" program in Bio-informatics today (23-07-2014) which will continue till 30th July'2014. The program was inaugurated today in presence of Prof. D.K Sharma, BIF Centre, Gawahati University, Prof P. Bora, Dept. of Bio-Technology, College of Vety. Science, Guwahati .

The program is aimed at equipping the College Teachers of Bio-Science background to teach the Bioinformatics module incorporated in the Degree syllabus of the universities in Assam.
