Welcome to NIELIT Kurukshetra Centre for quality education experience. NIELIT Kurukshetra was established in 2017 to provide educational & professional services in the areas of Information, Electronics & Communication Technology (IECT).

NIELIT, Kurukshetra Centre is located in a lush green environment in Government Polytechnic Campus Umri - Kurukshetra, which is on NH1 and is also connected with public transport services from different corners of the city. The state-of-the-art infrastructure along with skill set and teaching methodology of our faculties enable the learners to experience quality education with ease and flexibility

Today, in the era of technology, Information Technology, Electronics and related disciplines have become integrated part of life and IT literacy has become the need of the hour for every youth who has graduated from any stream. NIELIT, Kurukshetra started its operations from June 2017 to roll out following broad objectives:

• Capacity building in IECT and allied fields through long term courses of AICTE approved and NSQF aligned courses for students and short term courses for Professionals.
• Capacity building of Government officials through corporate training programs
• Facility management projects to facilitate State government in implementing the e-governance solutions.
• Collaboration with Institutes of repute for in-campus training program for students. In this regard, Centre has signed MOUs with 5 renowned institutions of the State for skill enhancement of their students (during summer semester break) through short term summer training programs. They are:-
  • University Institute of Engg. and Technology, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra
  • Government Polytechnic College – Ambala
  • Government Polytechnic College – Narwana
  • Government Polytechnic College – Cheeka
  • Government Polytechnic College – Hathnikund

Centre has launched number of advance courses on IOT, Raspberry Pi, Advance Web Designing, Python and Machine learning.
