Sports Meet is an essential component of co-curricular activities at NIELIT Kohima. Keeping this in consideration, the Annual Sports Meet for 2018 was organised and held from August 30 to September 01, 2018 which began with a prayer seeking the blessing of the Almighty and witnessed the participation of students from all the different courses and in all sporting events displaying a spirit of fair sportsmanship and zeal. The list of events ranged from racquet sports, athletics to fun and competitive individual as well as group games and also included football, volleyball, etc. Shri L. Lanuwabang, Director i/c, NIELIT Kohima inaugurated the Meet and encouraged the students to enthusiastically participate in all the events and interact in healthy competition.

At the end of the Sports Meet, medals and certificates were distributed by Shri. A. Morimenba Amer, Deputy Director to the winners of each event and the best team was announced, after which the Annual Sports Meet 2018 concluded with a photo session.
