The second Dissertation(II) of C level course is introduced in the 4th revised syllabus. Every Candidate should do a Dissertation individually and no grouping is allowed. The Dissertation will be carried out under the guidance of the institute, if he/she is through the institute conducting an accredited course. The direct Candidate will do the Dissertation in an organization where he/she is working. In that case, he/she will carry out the Dissertation under the guidance of experts/professional from his organization

Eligibility Criteria for submission of ‘C’ Level Second Dissertation(II)

‘C’ Level student can submit the Dissertation-II only after clearing 10 papers from the first two semesters and appearing both elective papers in semester III.

How to submit ‘C’ Level Second Dissertation(II)

The student will submit his/her Dissertation report in the prescribed format Annexure - VI along with requisite fee. The Dissertation Report should include:
     a)  One Hardcopy of Project Report.
     b)  Soft copy of Project on Floppy / CD
     c)  The Project Report may be about 50 pages (excluding coding)

The following suggested guidelines may be followed in preparing the Final Project Report:

     1.  Good quality white executive bond paper A4 size should be used for typing and duplication. Care should be taken to avoid smudging while duplicating the copies.
     2.  Page specification ( written paper and source code)

              Left margin – 3.0 cms.
              Right margin    – 3.0 cms.
              Top margin    – 2.7 cms.
              Bottom margin – 2.7 cms.

     3.  Page numbers – all text pages as well as program source code listing should be numbered at the bottom center of the pages.

Project Fee for Dissertation-II at 'C' Level

A fee of Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) should be done through NEFT/RTGS/Net Banking Payment only and no payment through Demand Draft will be accepted.

Guidelines for submission of Dissertation-II at 'C' Level

a)  Supervisor/Guide for Dissertation-II at 'C' Level

A Supervisor/Guide should be a person with NIELIT ‘C’ Level/ M.Tech. Equivalent/higher qualification and adequate experience (minimum 3 years) in the area in which the student has chosen the Dissertation. In the case of a Candidate from an Accredited Institute, the institute concerned will render all help including the nomination of the Supervisor. All help including the nomination of the supervisor/guide will be rendered by the institute concerned. In the case of a direct Candidate, the Candidate should ensure that the facilities are available in the organization (where the Dissertation is taken up) and also the same are extended to them. Dissertation report submission and presentation will be mandatory.
