NIELIT Chandigarh Centre is providing about 500 IT manpower to various Government Departments. In this regard NIELIT Chandigarh conducts the written test and interview for empanelment of candidates for the posts of Project Co-ordinator, Application Manager, Network Administrator, Office Assistant, District Project Manager, e-District Co-ordinator, EDP Manager, Systems Analyst, System Administrator, Programmer, Program Asst. B, Program Asst.-A, Hardware Engineer and Data Entry Operator and Clerks.

These empanelled candidates are deputed to different departments as per the requirement from different departments.
