Entrepreneurship Seminar by SBI for DGR sponsored Certified Multimedia Developer course offered by NIELIT Kolkata  

A batch of 30 participants of DGR sponsored course for Certified Multimedia Developer commenced from 8th April 2024 at NIELIT Kolkata’s Jadavpur University Campus. A seminar was organized on 06/06/2024 for the participants where officials from State Bank of India were invited to enlighten the participants about Investments and entrepreneurship options available. Shri Tapas Trivedy, Scientist-E welcomed the speakers Shri Bhaskar Chakraborty, Chief Manager, SBI, Jadavpur University Branch, Shri Kiran Kumar Naik, Investment officer, SBI, Shri Dipankar Mahakur, Relationship Manager, SBI, Shri Amit Kumar Yadav, Team Lead, SBI.
Speakers provided information about start up opportunities available with SBI. Speakers spoke about how terminal sum on retirement can be intelligently invested in different schemes, investment options available including the Gold Bonds issued by the bank. They also informed the participants about the PM schemes available for Ex-servicemen, subsidies available for start-ups and discussed about the Long term, short term and medium term investments. The programme was coordinated by Smt. Rashmi M Vijayvergiya, Scientist-D. Faculties Shri Shishir Srivastava, STA, and Smt. Sangeeta Mondal were also present in the event.
