DOEACC ‘A’ Level Course is the next level of NIELIT IT Professional Course after ‘O’ Level. It is equivalent to the Advanced Diploma Course in Computer Application as recognized by Govt. of India for job purposes. The course starts in the month of January and July every year.
Objective of the ‘A’ Level Course |

The objective of the course is to impart required knowledge and skills in I.T. and prepare the candidates for NIELIT examination. The ‘A’ LEVEL course is to equip a student with necessary skills as per following job role based on specialisation attained.

Duration :1080 Hours /1 Year- Two Semesters of 6 months
Eligibility : ‘O’ Level in Information Technology under DOEACC Scheme. Such candidates are required to register through NIELIT ‘A’ Level Accredited institute.

Course Fee: Rs 30,000/- . Course Fee can be paid in two instalments:
First Instalment : Rs 16,000/- (At the time of admission)
Second Instalment : Rs 14,000/- (in Second Semester)

Registration is a pre-requisite for appearing in ‘A’ Level (IT) examinations. Candidate has to register with NIELIT through student portal https://student.nielit.gov.in. Registration will be valid for 5 years. Registration fee is Rs 500/-
Examination |

1. Theory Examinations:
NIELIT “A” level theory examination is conducted twice in a year (in the month of January and July) by NIELIT HQ, Delhi. There is a number of examination centres all over India. The list of exam centers will be listed while filling of online examination form. Student can choose one of the exam centre according to their convenience. Full mark of each paper is 100 and exam duration is 3 hrs. Examination fee for each theory paper is Rs 750/- + Rs 100/- processing fee.
2. Practical Examinations:
Students of NIELIT “A” Level after “O” level need to appear in one Practical exam PR-II based on A5-R5 to A7-R5. Duration of each practical examination is 3 hrs.
Project Work |

Student can submit the Major project based on specialized area which the student has opted and after clearing 5 papers of the ‘A’ Level Course in IT and has appeared in both the modules of opted specialized area. The student will submit his/her project report in the prescribed format along with Project fee of Rs 1000/-. The project should be of minimum 350 man-hours and carries a total of 200 marks (80% for the project evaluation and 20% for the viva-voce).

Result of NIELIT-‘A’ Level examination is published in the NIELIT HQ website http://www.nielit,gov,in after 2 months of completion of the exam. Students can check their result from this website and can also get from the institute.
Payment of Course Fee |
---|
Admission fee and other miscellaneous Charge shall be charged at the time of admission. Payment paid in the form of Demand Draft or through NEFT/RTGS/Net banking.
By Demand Draft:
The Demand Draft will be in favour of NIELIT New Delhi Centre payable at New Delhi.
By Online Methods: Online payment may be made through NEFT/RTGS/Net banking/PAYTM
