NIELIT Delhi, in collaboration with the Directorate General of Employment (DGE), Ministry of Labour & Employment, Government of India, is offering free coaching to Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) job seekers. This initiative focuses on capacity building and skill development in the IT and Electronics sectors, enhancing employability for SC/ST youth. NIELIT Delhi has launched five specialized training programs w.e.f. 1^st July 2024, in its three locations i.e. Inderlok, East Delhi, and Janakpuri centre. The courses include NIELIT (IT) O level (NSQF Level 4), CHMT O level (NSQF Level 5), Office Automation Accounting and Publishing Assistant (NSQF Level 3), Computer Application Business Accounting Associate (NSQF Level 4), and Cyber Secured Web Development Associate (NSQF Level 4).   Total 165 SC/ST job seekers have been enrolled in these programs.

To mark the beginning of these training programs, an inaugural event was held at NIELIT Delhi, on 3^rd July 2024, attended by Sh Sudhir Thalluru, Sub-Regional Employment Officer, Smt Kanchan Rani, Additional Director and Training Head, NIELIT Inderlok, Sh Anil Kumar Singh, Assistant Employment Officer, and Smt Swapnali Naik, Joint Director, NIELIT Delhi. The distinguished guests inspired and motivated the students, emphasizing the importance of the training and the opportunities it would create for their future careers.
