The National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT) is an Autonomous Scientific Society under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India. NIELIT focuses on enhancing capacity and providing formal/non-formal education in the field of Information, Electronics, and Communication Technology (IECT). Additionally, NIELIT is dedicated to creating industry-relevant, high-quality educational and training initiatives.

Set up in 2021 as one of the centre of NIELIT with its pan India presence, NIELIT Bhubaneswar has its area of operation in the state of Orissa and Chhattisgarh. NIELIT Bhubaneswar stands as an esteemed professional institution dedicated to training the people of Odisha and Chhattisgarh in various skill-oriented and NSQF-aligned courses in the field of IECT emerging technology. With a commitment to the non-formal education sector, it is instrumental in fostering a pool of qualified professionals in diverse courses including non-formal programs at O/A/B/C levels, Digital Literacy courses, and Capacity building/Training for Govt. Employees in Information/Cyber Security, Social Media Analytics and other cutting-edge Technology  like AI/IoT/Embedded/Cloud computing and Drone Technology. Through these initiatives, NIELIT Bhubaneswar seeks to enhance credentials by executing various projects like Skill Development of Youth in Aspirational District in Area of IECT leading to Enhancement in Employability and ESDM to strengthen/uplift  Rural youth of Odisha and Chhattisgarh.
