The Centre initiated the Training on BCC for the Hon’ble Ministers of Tripura. The training has been specially designed to be conducted at the office chambers of all 12 Ministers in the Civil Secretariat Building of Tripura.

Students of 06 Government Colleges of Tripura sponsored by Directorate of Higher Education, Govt. of Tripura

Proposal for 2^nd phase submitted to Directorate of Higher Education

The Centre introduced Level- I (NIELIT BCC, Soft Skills & English) and Level-II (NIELIT CCC, Soft Skills & English) at 06 (six) Govt. Degree Colleges sponsored by Government of Tripura from 15th January, 2013.

The project has been temporarily suspended from April 2016.

The Centre conducted training on BCC for students of Government Music College sponsored by Higher Education, Government of Tripura.

Training on BCC for Govt. Employees

The Centre has conducted training on BCC to School Teachers sponsored by SCERT, Govt. of Tripura.

The Centre has conducted Training Program on BCC for the Employees of Tripura University at the NIELIT Tripura University Study Centre.

The Centre is conducting Training Program on BCC for the Employees of different State Government Departments sponsored by DIT, Govt. of Tripura under e-District Project and under Capacity Building Project.

5.

Training on BCC, CCC, Office Automation & Soft Skills

Unemployed Youths of West Tripura  sponsored by the Office of the DM & Collector, West Tripura

2^nd Phase Ongoing.

Training started from June 2016 and 220 candidates have been trained till date.

Total Trained:220

A fund for a target of 200 candidates in has been sanctioned in Jan 2018 and training will commence very soon.

To create Mass Cyber Security awareness among schools, colleges and government employees through appropriate training and campaign mechanism in North-Eastern States of Tripura

Awareness Workshops for 3209 School Students, 1715 College Students, 295 Govt. Officials of the state of Tripura and training for 60 Master Trainers from School and Colleges have been completed.

A Cyber Security Web portal has been developed.

Translation of course content in local languages has been completed.

Various Talk show on cyber security awareness were recorded at Doordarshan Kendra.

Android app & Puppet Show Videos have been developed on cyber security awareness.

Setting up of Medical Electronics Lab at NIELIT Agartala Centre

To set up Medical Electronics Repairing Lab and to train manpower on Repair & Maintenance of Medical Electronic Equipment

The Medical Repair & Maintenance Lab has been setup.

Repair & Maintenance of medium and low range Biomedical Equipment of whole Tripura state is being done.

The equipment for which repair and maintenance work is being undertaken at present by Medical Electronics Lab, NIELIT Agartala Centre are ECG, Nebulizer (Respiratory devices), Centrifuge, B.P. Apparatus, Instrument Sterilizer, Autoclave, Suction Machine, X-Ray Machin, Dental Chair, Radiant Warmer, Phototherapy Unit, Needle cutter, OT Lights & Spot Lights, Microscope, Electronic Weight Machine

4.

Information Security Education & Awareness (ISEA) Project Phase-II

To train Government Officials and conduct short term training of Information Security

NIELIT Agartala is implementing the the project of ISEA Phase –II. NIELIT Agartala has identified Courses for 3 / 2 days and 1 week in Information Security and Linux Administration respectively. The first phase of setting up of the Lab of ISEA phase-II is completed and training is under process.

6.

Jeevan Pramaan Project for Government Pensioners

To facilitate Jeevan Pramaan Registration and submission of life certificates by the  Pensioners

NIELIT Agartala is the Nodal Centre for implementation of Jeevan Pramaan, biometric enabled digital service of Life Certificate for the Pensioners in Tripura Registration in Jeevan Pramaan.

Awareness campaign/facilitation Camp are being regularly organised in Tripura.

7.

Capacity Building in IT and Digital Services (Including Digital Payments and GST) for State Govt Officials in NER.

To enhance the IT skills of fifty thousand state govt officials of NER by providing them with digital skills viz; digital literacy, digital payments, e- governance services and GST training

 To facilitate adoption as well as regular use of IT and Digital Services as a way of life, and especially in official work.

NIELIT Agartala is implementing the the project of Capacity Building in IT and Digital Services. The course comprises of modules on Computer Concepts (CCC- Course on Computer Concepts), a course on Digital Literacy with additional modules on, Digital Payment, GST Training and e-Governance Services. It consists of 98 hours of course curriculum delivered over a 7-hour schedule daily for 14 days comprising of theory and practical classes.

Course on Computer Concepts will aim to provide the participants with an understanding of digital instruments needed regularly in official work such as word, excel, power-point, email and internet browsing.
