STARTING OF NIELIT TURA TEMPORARY EXTENSION CENTRE AT TURA, WEST GARO HILLS DISTRICT, MEGHALAYA.

NIELIT presence at TURA, Garo Hills

As part of the initiative to build in roads in different districts of Meghalaya, NIELIT Shillong has started activities towards being able to offer training in IT courses at Tura, West Garo Hills District of Meghalaya. Preliminary infrastructure like computers, furniture, Power backup, etc has been placed in the beginning of Jan’16. Publicity is being done via newspaper advertisements, pamphlets and banner campaigns and there is heartening response of local people from in and around the area.
