Sh. Rajiv Kumar ,Joint Secretary, DeitY visited NIELIT Shimla and gave some very valuable suggestions for starting courses for skill development, social impact, benefit to citizens in terms of employability/livelihood , these were:

1.     Digital marketing for Handicrafts in Kullu and fruit exporters of Kinnaur, Lahaul Spiti. 

2.     Pattern Designing using DTP for Shawl weavers. Presently, they are doing this work manually which takes month time to complete one unit. 

3.     Proposal for HP Government to make departments websites RTI complaint rather than making the dynamic as all the departments may not have such requirement.
