NIELIT Kolkata organized Yuva Rojgar Manch (Job Fair 2023) on 7th December, 2023 in the state of West Bengal in Nov,Dec 2023. Further, the Job Fair at NIELIT Kolkata Salt Lake Campus, the program was inaugurated in the presence of Shri V. Krishnamurthy, Executive Director, NIELIT Kolkata and Shri Santosh Kumar K, Sub Regional Employment Officer, DGE Kolkata, Shri Tapas Trivedy, Scientist-E and other senior NIELIT Kolkata staff by lighting of lamp and felicitation of all the representatives of the companies and officials who covered the program. In the inaugural session the Executive Director highlighted about NIELIT placement initiative all over India and plans of conducting more such Job Fairs in near future. Shri Santosh Kumar K spoke about the long collaboration DGE is having with NIELIT and together how they are trying to give employment opportunities to today’s youth. Shri Tapas Trivedy encouraged the students to be fearless in presenting themselves and to be ready to grab all job opportunities available. The Job Fair was advertised by All India Radio through their live radio programs till 02.12.2023. The program was also covered by them. Video/Audio bytes of NIELIT officials, Employers and Job Seekers were taken by AIR and is circulated through live radio and on social media on 08.12.2023. The Job Fair organized by NIELIT Kolkata had 348 candidates which were attended by 14 reputed employers from West Bengal out of 16 registered.
