Training of Trainers Program on Cyber Security and Cyber Hygiene for the CVC Officers

A 2-day Training of Trainers Program on Cyber Security and Cyber Hygiene was conducted by NIELIT Kolkata at its Salt Lake Campus for the nominated CVC officers across India on the 26th and 27th of September 2023.

The program was inaugurated in the presence of Shri V. Krishnamurthy, Executive Director, Shri Goutam Saha, Scientist-E, Shri Tapas Trivedy, Scientist-D & Vigilance Officer, Dr. Kalyan Baital, Scientist-D & Course Coordinator, Mrs. Varsha Deshmukh, Assistant Director (Admin) among other NIELIT Kolkata officers and senior officers from several Govt Departments namely HCL, Coal India, DVC, NALCO, Uranium Corporation, MSTC, etc. In the inaugural session, the Executive Director highlighted the activities of NIELIT, particularly the Kolkata centre, and expressed deep interest in possible future collaboration in training, development, examination, and consultancy. In the technical sessions, several aspects of Cyber Security measures and techniques have been explained with demonstrations for Cyber Security enhancement in their respective organizations. The participants appreciated the quality training as well as excellent administrative support during the training. The program was closed with a certificate distribution ceremony where the participants promised a future collaboration.
