NIELIT Extension Centre, Chuchuyimlang has a humble beginning with a single Lab of 10 PCs offering  DOEACC O Level and CCC courses. The Centre was established in the year 2006 and till then the Centre is committed to provide quality IT Education to the people living in the rural areas. Today the Centre has two well furnished computer labs, a hardware and networking lab, Internet facilities from ERNET and BSNL, 15 KVA Generator and 10 kva UPS for power backup.

The Centre is accredited to offers courses such as A Level, O Level, 6 months Diploma course, Graphic Designing, Video and Audio Editing, Hardware and Networking, Webpage Designing, CCC, Basic Computer courses.  

The Centre has also successfully conducted seminars on Cyber Security Awareness at different schools and colleges. It is also actively involved in providing e-Governance  services to the rural people.

The Centre has since inception committed to deliver professional services in the field of IT, electronics, e-Governance, software development etc to the door step of the rural population.
