As part of New Education Policy 2020 to introduce vocational education from grade 6th onwards, NIELIT Calicut proposed a scheme to implement Digital Literacy Courses ACC, BCC & CCC and NIELIT O level. The same has been approved in principle by the Lakshadweep Administration. Subject expert from the U.T after discussions with Calicut faculty recommended to start with implementation of NIELIT DLC for 6th to 8th grade in this academic year. Subsequently a ToT was conducted for 23 Primary School Teachers Master Training in Course on Computer Concepts (CCC) for UT of Lakshadweep teachers of the Union territory in ACC/BCC/CCC. The training  started on 20 Dec 2022 at NIELIT Calicut.
