Course Description: This 1 Week  course will equip the candidates with General & practical knowledge about Cybersecurity, Cyber Hygiene Practices, Social Engineering Awareness, Cyberbullying and Online Safety for Children, Secure Online Shopping and Banking, Password Security, Data Protection and privacy measures, Security of Personal Devices, Identity Theft Protection & Emerging Threats and Trends

Who can attend?

This course is designed for everyone.

Pre-requisites:  Basic Computer , Mobile and Internet Browsing Knowledge.

Course Duration :  1 Week (Per day 1.5 hr.)

Eligibility : Should have Passed 10^th with knowledge in Basic computer concepts, knowledge in Internet Browsing .

Course Contents :

• Fundamental of Cybersecurity, Cyber Hygiene Practices, Social Engineering Awareness, Cyberbullying and Online Safety for Children, Secure Online Shopping and Banking, Password Security, Data Protection and privacy measures, Security of Personal Devices, Identity Theft Protection & Emerging Threats and Trends.

In case students are not able to attend online classes, web links of recorded lectures of all classes will be provided for offline reference so that students can learn at their own pace and timings, during the course period.

• Attendees must have a computer system Or Any Smart Phone with a good internet connection. (LMS Platform Link shall be forwarded to registered candidates on 26.05.2024). Other requirements as per the course being offered.)

Terms and Conditions 

1. In case any registered candidate could not attend the online session due to technical issue on their side there will not be any refund of the course fee and the sessions will not be repeated.
2. In case the online course is cancelled /postponed due to some technical issue at NIELIT side and the new date is not convenient to the candidate, our liability is limited to the refund of the course fee and NIELIT shall not be responsible for any consequential damages
3. *‘Successfully completed certificate’ will be awarded subject to the candidate passing the test with minimum 50% marks, minimum 60% attendance and feedback submission.
