NIELIT Kolkata organized a One day Workshop on “Identification & Handling of Electronic Evidence” on January 17, 2016 at its Jadavpur University campus. The workshop was inaugurated by Shri. Arup Chattopadhyay, Addl. Director, and was attended by over 100 students and scientists from NIELIT and adjacent institutes. The session started with the lecture on “Crypto Initiatives at the onset of Computer Cryptography” delivered by Prof. Ranjan Ghosh, Department of Radio Physics & Electronics, Calcutta University. Shri. A. Buboo Singh, Scientist–D, NIELIT Imphal thereafter gave a lively presentation on “Latest Trends in Cyber Security and Threats”. Real life case studies were discussed in the workshop which evoked very good response.
