ITES-BPO
The institute started the ITES-BPO Call Centre Agents training programme from November 2004 under the sponsorship of Dept. of DONER, Govt. of India.The course fee is actually 12,000/- plus applicable service tax, but sponsorship schemes are available. (See details in FEE CONCESSION Section).
Duration : for the course is 2 months @ 4 hrs per day. There are 3 major topics/area of training viz. IT skill, Soft Skill and English Skill. apart from various training activities like, telephonic conversation, extempore and personality development.
Eligibility: Graduates/Undergraduates in any discipline with good knowledge of English Language
Intake : 20 seats for each batch
Admission Procedure: Normally admission to the course is based on a personal interview conducted by NIELIT. Admission notice is published in the local daily newspaper of Nagaland about 10 days prior to commencement of course for every 2 months or after completion of training of a batch.
Issue of Certificate: An examination/test will be held at the end of training programme by NIELIT and certificate will be issued to the successful trainees.Placement: NIELIT has been arranging campus/telephonic interviews for the trainees of the programme. From such interviews 65 trainees have been selected for working as customer care officers in various companies located in different cities of India.
Some of the companies who visited/arranged telephonic interviews for providing placement to our trainees are i)Wipro Spectramind, New Delhi ii) EXL, Noida iii) 24X7, Hyderabad & Bangalore iv) Convergys, Bangalore v) Navigant, Gurgaon vi) Wipro, Kolkata etc.
In addition to above companies some recruitment agencies also visited our center for conducting walk-ins for selection of Customer care officers.
