Aim:
The Government of India has taken major initiative to promote spreading of e-Governance throughout the country right from the grass root levels, Information Security has gained high significance. This necessitates development of specialized manpower in Information Security areas to design countermeasures against various types of attacks.
Objective:
The capacity building in the area of Information Security to address human resource requirement in the country, training of government personnel, creation of mass information security awareness, creating a national repository of courses in Information Security.

- Non-formal courses in Information Security
- Information Security Training for Government officers
- Creation of mass Information Security Awareness
- Paper Publications
Training Programs:
- PG Diploma/Diploma/Certificate Programs (150 Participants)
- One/Two Week Modular Courses (500 Participants)
- Certification in Information Security (Three Levels) in IS (1500 Participants)
- Training for Government Officers
- Two Days Basic Training in Information Security (500 Officers)
- Three Days Advanced Training in Information Security (100 Participants)
- One Week Extensive Training in Information Security (100 Participants)
