NIELIT Lucknow is an extension centre of NIELIT Gorakhpur Centre. Uttar Pradesh being a vast state and the connectivity of its capital, Lucknow, with various districts besides rail connectivity with the entire nation, was the main reason of opening this centre which was inaugurated by His Excellency Shri Romesh Bhandari , Governor of Uttar Pradesh, in October,1996.

NIELIT Lucknow offers various short and long term courses in Information Technology and Electronics. The Staff members are high skilled professionals of IT and Electronics sector having huge experience in their respective fields. The Centre imparts training on DOEACC’s(now NIELIT’s) CCC /O/A/B/ Level courses. NIELIT Lucknow is front runner in implementing Government run schemes like ESDM , Jeevan Praman , Panchayati Raj Functionaries Training. NIELIT Lucknow has trained more than twenty thousand students in its twenty years of existence at Gomti Nagar Lucknow Campus. Uttar Pradesh Government has shown its faith in NIELIT Lucknow as we have been actively providing various facility management services for its various Departments like UPHSSP, Election Department, NRHM, Social Welfare, UPPCL,UPSRTC etc.

The centre has excellent learning environment with centrally air-conditioned Classrooms , Labs and Library. We wish participation of housewives , artisans and youth to join us in our aim to Digitally literate atleast one person in each household.
