Chairman/Chief Executive Councillor, Tashi Gyalson along with Executive Councillor for IT, Stanzin Chosphel, and DC Leh, Shrikant Suse, visited NIELIT Leh. Director NIELIT, Phuntsog Toldan welcomed the Hon’ble guest at NIELIT Leh.  The said officials where briefed about the innovative products made by the Interns of NIELIT Leh under Work Based Learning project sponsored by Meity, Govt. of India. 

The interns presented their innovative projects, which were aimed at solving various problems faced by the people in Ladakh. They showcased a range of products, including Smart Green House, Smart Street Lights, etc.

CEC Sh. Tashi Gyalson appreciated the efforts made by the interns and encouraged them to work on more people-friendly innovations that can be used in their daily lives. He also assured them of full support from the LAHDC Leh in the future. He added that the innovations presented by the interns are very impressive and showed their dedication and creativity. He also urged the interns to work on some of the ideas suggested by him as pilot projects like Solar Panelled Curtains, Solar Charging Electric Vehicles to be used for further implementation in government projects.
