The International Yoga Day was celebrated in NIELIT Jorhat EC on 21-06-2022. This year's International Day of Yoga's theme is ‘Yoga for Humanity’.

Ms. Debashree Das, Counsellor, led the participants through different yoga asanas and explained its benefits for better mental, physical and spiritual well-being. She also explained that regular practice of yoga helps a person to become a better human being.

The participants included staff and students of NIELIT Jorhat EC, who thoroughly enjoyed this session by attempting to do the various asanas as demonstrated.
