Shri Rajeev Chandrashekhar, MOS, MeitY, Govt. of India inaugurated the permanent campus of NIELIT Jorhat. He also inaugurated the permanent campuses at Dibrugarh, Dimapur, Senapati & Pasighat.

The North East Capacity Building Project 2.0 project, for skill development in the field of IECT for various stakeholders of North East funded by MeitY was also inaugurated by Shri Rajeev Chandrashekhar, MOS, MeitY, Govt. of India. The project, NECB 2.0 will cover Women, elderly people, farmers, School/College students including Engineering students and Teachers.

This project also has the component of support for establishing Start-Ups by enterprising individuals or groups.
