A memorandum of understanding was signed on 7th October 2022 between the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT), Akampat with 12 Government colleges for technical partnership and IT capacity building programmes.
The colleges who signed the MoU with NIELIT are Manipur College, Lilong Haoreibi College, S Kula Women’s College, Kakching Khunou College, Imphal College, Hindi Teacher Training College, Waikhom Mani Girls’ College, Nambol L Sanoi College, DM College of Teacher Education, Standard College, Presidency College and United College.

The MoU was signed in the auditorium of NIELIT, Akampat between its Director N Debachandra and Director of University and Higher Education Dr Rangitabali Waikhom.
