A State Level function on Digital India Anniversary Celebration was held at NIELIT Imphal with Shri Sumant Singh, IAS, Commissioner (IT) Govt. of Manipur, Shri Kh Rajen Singh, State Informatics Officer, NIC Manipur and Shri Th. Prameshwor Singh, Executive Director, NIELIT Imphal gracing the function as Chief Guest, Guest of Honour and President respectively. The function was jointly organized by Department of Information Technology, Govt. of Manipur, National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT) Imphal, Software Technology Park of India, Imphal, National Informatics Centre (NIC), Manipur, and Common Service Centre, Manipur. The function was attended by more than 150 participants with active participation from Government Departments, Private IT Companies, Entrepreneurs, Officials from the Banks and Students. The function was covered by various print & electronic media houses and was also streamed live on Social Media platform for wider coverage (www.facebook.com/IMP.NIELIT).The function concluded with a lively discussion and interaction session by panel of experts from DIT, NIC, STPI, NIELIT and Private Company.

Similar function was also held at different districts (Imphal East, Churachandpur & Senapati) with the participation from NIELIT staff.
