IT Skills and e-Inclusion through low cost access device based awareness programs for Scheduled Tribes of Kerala To provide free training and certification to deserving candidates belonging to ST population so as to increase their employability in Government and Private Sector.  Objective of Amrita is to build a model and methodology for effective learning for social awareness and ACC training in Malayalam and pilot it in Tribal Hamlets where connectivity is not available.
4. Set-up of Medical Electronics Laboratory at NIELIT Shillong. To set up Medical Electronics Laboratory at NIELIT Shillong for Testing, Calibration, Repairing and Maintenance of Medical Electronics Equipment of various hospitals in Meghalaya and to undertake course in Medical Electronics Equipment Maintenance with intake capacity of 75 nos. in 3 years.

Setting up State of Art Digital Forensic Data Centre to provide forensic services Including remote forensics live acquisition and analysis of digital evidence, Virtual Training Services to NE States

(1) To set up Digital Forensic Data Centre with essential digital forensic tools and to offer forensic services by sharing the resources in the facility with virtual technology concept for North Eastern States. The digital forensic data centre is proposed to act as a repository of digital forensics tools for NE States and the services will be offered in cloud environment; (2) Creating web based virtual environment laboratory with training content covering latest trends in cybercrimes, seizure/ acquisition & analysis of digital evidence, building case scenarios with advanced forensics techniques to enable LEA officials to gain hands-on forensics investigative skills in various area like disk forensics, mobile forensics, network forensics, social media etc. through the virtual mechanism; (3) Based on the need expressed by Law Enforcement development and integration of web related evidence acquisition tool including automated screen capturing while acquiring web related evidence like media files and documents with forensically sound methods.

Empowerment of SC/ ST Youth & Women on Enhancement of Livelihood activities using IT & Tool and PMU for IT for Masses

(1) Empowerment of SC/ST and Women on functional IT for enhencement of day-today livelihood activities and Scope of Employment Generation/Enterpreneurship development. (2) To develope 800 IT skill resources members from SC/ST and Women candidates through the developed infrastructure under Capacity Building Programme (3) Household women are involved with various handloom products weaving during the free time as livelihood activities using IT and tools for new design creation and design printout for easy development process which will minimize the process time with modern design creation, increasing the productivity and income. (4) For handicraft products, the concept will help and benifits the carpenter and youth directly for product design creation/ development maintaining state-of-Art. Darjeeling and Alipurduar districts are famous and heritage for wood furniture products. (5) This skill oriented course on the assembly and installation procedure of solar panels and LED bulb manufacturing for day-to-day uses and prime focus now a days for entrepreneurship development.

IT enabled Incubation Centre for Handloom and Handicraft Sector

The main objective is to Modernization of the development of looms and Crafts with the added value of Technological intervention through ICT in the right direction towards innovative products development, meet the global market, reduction of production cost, employability and involvement of newer generation with modern technological concept and finally to create a digital cluster (exclusive E commerce portal) of Ladakhi artisans, who have acquired the unique skill sets from their ancestors and train them in Digital Technologies which includes Digital Photography, Digital Transaction and Information related to e-Commerce Websites etc. • Setting up of 2 state-of-the-art incubation centers cum Design Labs/Modeling labs for giving facilities to create designs, develop prototypes leading towards production. • Setting up of a state-of-the-art IT lab cum training centers at NIELIT for Handloom and Handicraft artisans as well as entrepreneurs. • Trainings of 2100 artisans using modem technologies and IT tools and Digital Literacy, Digital Marketing & soft skills, entrepreneurship skills etc.

Development of Cyber Forensic Training cum investigation Labs in North-Eastern States and Cloud based Centralized Cyber Forensics Lab Infrastructure

i) To set up cyber forensic training cum investigation labs in 8 North Eastern States equipped with associated cyber forensic system and toolshaving software license and maintenances with contract for the duration (5 Years) of the Project. ii) To Create master trainers with latest skills and training at each of the NIELIT centres on Cyber forensic. iii) Capacity Building of various stakeholders of criminal Justice system like police officers, Prosecutors, Judges, Investigation Officers of all LEAs etc in each of the proposed state. iv) Design and development of the course curriculum and its delivery for various stake holders like Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs), Prosecution, Judiciary in the field of digital crime prevention, detection, mitigation & investigation (Cyber forensics) etc. In respective states. The course curriculum will be based on the case studies. v) Creation of resource portal along with e-learning methodologies over cloud and facilities for MIS, courseware dissemination, information exchange, resource persons/organizations sharing of expertise among the Eight NE states. vi) To create a centralized database facility for digital crime records for various research such as automatic evidence extraction and analysis for cyber forensics to enable- (a) Uniformity in tool profiling and usage of cyber forensic tools & reference library of various cyber forensic software toolsfor evidence extraction and analysis for cyber forensics. (b) Design and development of digital crime database/repository for supporting various training and LEAs requirement. vii) Cloud based infrastructure will be hosted and setup at NIC cloud for sharing of cyber forensic tools, content delivery & cloud based Virtual Training on Cyber forensics for LEAs of all eight north eastern states. viii) To provide access to VTE from the 8 cyber forensic labs for training of the law enforcement agencies ix) Need based value addition/upgradation to existing course materials developed by C-DAC Hyderabad, NPA Hyderabad and NIELIT and host it at VTE.

Skill Development of youths in Aspirational Districts in the area of IECT leading to enhancement in Employability

The overall objective of this project is to improve the skill in IECGT amongst the SC/ST/EWS (Women) youths in 60 Aspirational Districts and make them reliable for employment and entrepreneurship However, the specific objectives of the project is to conduct Skill Development training program of 21,600 youths belonging to Aspirational districts (60 Districts) in the area of Information, Electronics and Communications Technology (IECT) over a period of 3-YTears through and array of various NSQF aligned courses in Electronics and IT.

1. To bring awareness among elderly persons about mobile application for the fulfillment of various needs releated to health monitoring needs. Personal information needs,social needs, leisure besides safety and Privacy 2.
