On 26^th September 2016 , Smt. Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Ministry of Electronics and IT , Govt. of India reviewed the capacity building and R&D activities of NIELIT Calicut at CDAC, Cochin Campus. The Secretary appreciated the efforts and recent projects undertaken by NIELIT and advised to focus on specific domains. She also stressed the need for encouraging startup and entrepreneurs in electronics.
