MCC – NIELIT – IEEE Workshop on Soft Skills

Model Career Centre (A project of Ministry of Labour & Employment Govt. of India) at NIELIT Calicut, organized a Workshop on Soft Skills on 28^th & 29^th July 2018 , with the technical support of the   IEEE Malabar Subsection

The workshop covered   Etiquettes, Values and Ethics, Effective Interpersonal Skills, Goal Settings, Team Skills etc

Ms Sangeetha Panicker (Founder and Chief trainer at Sharp Skills Inc),  served as the resource person

The workshop was power packed with interactive sessions, role play assignments, Interpersonal and team building activities etc. There were 78 registered participants from across India

Model Career Centre (A project of Ministry of Labour & Employment Govt. of India) at NIELIT Calicut, organized a Workshop on Communication Skills  on 15^th & 16^th September  2018 , with the technical support of the   IEEE Malabar Subsection

The workshop covered  topics like; dealing with Mother Tongue Influence (MTI), phonetics, tone/ voice Modulation, verbal etiquette, effective Body language, Improving Communication skills using the Multiple Teachers, Many Learners technique , improving Reading, Writing & Listening Skills, Writing  effective CVs, Executive Vocabulary practices, Presenting oneself during Interviews etc

A six member expert’s team lead by Prof (Dr) Premanand ME and Prof (Dr) Prasanth VG served as the resource group, for the workshop.

The workshop was well attended with   81 registered participants
