As India celebrated its 71st Independence Day on Tuesday, 15th Aug 2017, the staff and students of NIELIT Calicut celebrated the day with great vigor. On the occasion, the Executive Director, Dr. MP Pillai unfurled the national flag, and addressed the gathering bringing out the importance of the Day and the need to keep up our Patriotic Spirits. Additionally the Centre was illuminated with lamps on the Eve of the occasion. Payasam was distributed after the Flag Hoisting session and all present left with deep sense of pride and support for the Country.
