NIELIT Bhubaneswar designed an interesting and unique program titled SPP-2020 for the BCA final year students of two colleges of Odisha. The program encompassed all the elements to further their career and enhance employability.

A twelve days Summer Project Program–2020 with 55 participants commenced from 24-Feb-2020 to 05-Mar-2020 where the students have the opportunity to create an application in C Language and present the same before the faculty and peers. Mr. Bhabani Shakar Mohapatra and Mr. Sanjeeb Kumar Sahoo imparted the training. Participants visited a BPO giant and enjoyed a tour to a state of the art academic institute.

Lectures on Soft-skills were also included in the program. Shri V Krishnamurthy, Director-in-Charge given lecture on e-Waste management and Information Security; Shri Umakanta Tripathy, Deputy Director given lecture on SMART Objective, Time Management and Public Speaking.  Two other experts namely, Shri S K Tiwari discussed process and triicks of Flowcharting, ER Diagram and DFD, Shri J K Mohanty given lecture on Skill & Knowledge and Career options.

All participants on successful completion of the program awarded with a participatory certificate.
