e-Content to widen the reach of NIELIT courses

NIELIT has developed e-contents for its various courses such as O/A/B/ Level, ESDM, e-Governance, IT Literacy courses like CCC, BCC etc. The e-Content have been developed using multimedia and animation features. The e-Content will be delivered through an e-Content Portal that provides for a 24X7 ‘anywhere-anytime’ platform and are especially useful for youths in rural/remote areas, who can pursue a digital literacy or a skill development course in the Online mode so as to widen its reach to the common man.

Issuance of Single Module e-Certificates to boost employability

It has been observed that there are many candidates who are not able to complete the level and thus do not get any advantage as they lack a final certificate for seeking employment based on the knowledge they had gained while trying to complete the course. Considering the plight of such candidates, NIELIT has decided to issue modular certificates to the candidates who are pursuing O/A/B/C level on clearing module(s) but otherwise could not complete the level. The candidates who wish to obtain module certificate could get the same by submitting an application on-line and payment of requisite fee in the portal.

Online Accreditation Software to facilitate Training Partners

In continuation to the efforts made by NIELIT to put all its services in the online mode for greater transparency and accountability, the process of grant of accreditation is now online and in line with the vision of Government of India the process has also been revamped to do away with the paper documentation. The online accreditation software would greatly facilitate all stakeholders and would also reduce the processing time to a large extent.
