I am glad to welcome you to National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) Kurukshetra – one of the premier institutes of learning and skill enhancement in the areas of Electronics and Information Technology.

NIELIT Kurukshetra has been set up in the built-up space provided by Haryana Government at Government Polytechnic Campus, Umri, Kurukshetra, in an area of around 10,000 sq. ft.

NIELIT is a well-established brand across the country in imparting IT Education to youth and corporate sector on latest and upcoming technologies. The state-of-the-art infrastructure along with skill set and teaching methodology of our faculties enable the learners to experience quality education with ease and flexibility.

NIELIT Kurukshetra conducts various employment-oriented courses such as ‘O’ Level, ‘A’ Level and “National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF)” aligned courses in the areas of Electronics & IT. The Centre also conducts “Digital Literacy” courses such as ACC, BCC, CCC, CCC Plus and ECC. NIELIT’s non-formal courses and Digital literacy Courses are widely accepted in various government departments for the purpose of recruitment and promotion in jobs. Moreover, the training is free for SC/ST students for NSQF Courses. 

The Centre is imparting training programs aimed at skill up-gradation and capacity building in emerging areas of Electronics and Information Technology like Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT), MATLAB, Android Application Development, Python, .NET Technologies, Computer Networking, and Multimedia & Animation, etc.

Our other thrust areas include Conducting and evaluating OMR based and online recruitment and entrance examination, website/web-application Development, and support Government Departments in implementing e-governance solutions.

NIELIT Kurukshetra through its consistent performance has been rising the ladder of success by adding new services, new clients, new courses in upcoming technologies and widening geographical and demographic base by extending services to almost every section of society, which include weaker section, BPL youths and candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC and Minority apart from general category students. Such candidates are not only empowered through education but also supported through placements.  

Situated in Kurukshetra, the land of Karma, where the Lord Shri Krishna gave the Updesh/teachings of Gita, this Centre has been functioning with dedication not only to spread computer culture and digital literacy but ethics and values to the teaching-learning process.
