Under the special scheme of “Preparing North East for Digital India”, Kokrajhar Extension Centre of NIELIT Guwahati with the sponsorship of National E-Governance Division (NeGD) has started to impart free IT courses for the Govt. of Assam employee in the Dhubri District on 2^nd Sep, 2016. The programme was inaugurated by S. Ali Ahmed, Addl. Deputy Commissioner, Dhubri in the presence of Bipul Roy, Centre In-charge NIELIT Kokrajhar EC, Kailash Kalita, DIO, Dhubri and other invited guests and dignitaries.

      The training programme is directly going to benefit the trainees in the proper implementation of e-governance and also spread the “Digital India” mission to transform the entire ecosystem of public services through the use of Information, Electronics and Communications Technology.
