On 31^st of October 2019, NIELIT Kokrajhar EC observed the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day) marking the birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbahi Patel. The remembrance started with a Run for Unity programme participated by the staff members and students of the institute. Later the participants were briefed about Sardar Vallabhbahi Patel’s role in India’s struggle for independence, and his contribution towards integration of the country after the independence. The programme concluded with the pledge taking ceremony where in the participants pledged to stand for Unity and Integration of the Society.
