Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering/ IT

Diploma in Computer Science & Engineering and Diploma in Information Technology is a course under State Council of Technical Education, Nagaland under Directorate of Technical Education. Duration of the Course is 3 years. Admission to the course will be done during May/June every year. Admission notice is published in the local newspapers and some national newspapers about a month prior to the commencement of the course.

 

Objective: The Objective of the course is to provide training to the potential candidates to become an IT professional. Introduction to different new concepts for engineering studies will be provided which will be a backbone for their career.

 

Recognition: This course is designed, prepared and approved by State Council of Technical Education, Nagaland.

Eligibility: Scoring 40% marks in aggregate.

Intake: 30 seats each for both courses: “Computer Science & Engineering” and “Information Technology”.

Selection Procedure: Selection of candidate is done on the basis of a written entrance test conducted by NIELIT, Kohima.
