The inauguration of NeGD program for training of state Govt. employees in NIELIT CCC and CCC+ course was held at NIELIT Jorhat EC on 1st July'2016. The programme was inaugurated by Shri Roshni Aparanjit Korati, Deputy Commissioner in charge, Jorhat in the presence, Shri K Baruah, Director, NIELIT Guwahati, Sri Pranjal Bezbaruah, DIO NIC, Sri Prankrishna Tamooli, Asst. Director & Centre In-charge, Jorhat Ext. Centre of NIELIT Guwahati, Shri Bijendra Gogoi,  DIPRO, Jorhat, Shri M.N. Dahl, IAS, Asst. Commissioner, Jorhat. The Jorhat Extension Centre  Jorhat of NIELIT Guwahati will train 440 employees of Jorhat District under this programme free of cost.  

Under the umbrella of Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi’s flagship programme of “Digital India”, National e-Governance Division (NeGD) has joined hands with National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT), an autonomous Scientific Society of DeitY, Govt. of India to train 16000 state Govt. employees of all the North Eastern States in two years.

This scheme “Preparing North East for Digital India” sponsored by National e-Governance Division (NeGD) is conducted in association with National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT), an autonomous Scientific Society of DeitY, Govt. of India. 4400 nos. (four thousand four hundred)  of Govt. officials are to be trained in all districts of Assam. Training for two batches started from 1st July'16 and 4th July'16.
