NIELIT Chandigarh organized State Level Workshop on Capacity Building of Small/Medium Businesses/Traders on Digital Payment Initiative at Bachan Bhawan Ludhiana on 24^th May 2017. Shri Rajesh Gupta, President, Traders Cell, Ludhiana was Chief Guest. Dr. M.M. Sharma, Executive Director, NIELIT Chandigarh, Shri Rattan Lal Garg, President, Supreme Shawl Association, Ludhiana , Sunil Mehra, General Secretary, Punjab Vyapar Mandal and Dr. Manish Arora, Additional Director, NIELIT Chandigarh were present apart from traders from different trades.  More than 100 traders participated in the event. The main objective was to motivate traders to use digital modes of payments like AEPS and BHIM. Representative from Punjab and Sind Bank and UDAI were also present and they demonstrated the apps for traders.
