3^rd two days workshop on Administrative and Financial Matters was held on 19^th & 20^th May, 2016 at Hotel Mountview, Chandigarh which was organised by NIELIT,Chandigarh. The representative of Administration and Finance across 11 centres were present in the workshop

Dr. Ashwini Kumar Sharma, Director General NIELIT, New Delhi was the chief guest. Sh Janak Raj, Registrar-NIELIT and Sh Rajeev Talwar  Chief Finance officer-NIELIT were the Guests of Honour.Dr Ashwini Kumar Sharma emphasised the great need for such open discussions, inter-active sessions through workshops for updation of knowledge base.

He emphasised the need to understand the importance at various core activities of Administration and Finance like adherence of Statutory Compliances under various Acts, employee benefits, strict compliances of Govt. Guidelines etc. and in particular stressed upon for creating updated systems and procedure with latest IT Techniques to achieve higher level of efficiency.  

Shri Janak Raj, Registrar and Shri Rajeev Talwar, CFO also shared expertise in their respective field of Administration and Finance. Mrs. Meenakshi Gaur, Director-in-Charge, NIELIT, Chandigarh was also present and shared her views.

Dr. Ashwini Kumar Sharma, Director General, NIELIT shared with participants the importance of International Yoga day being celebrated on 21^st June, 2016 at Chandigarh.  Under the same protocol, yoga exercises were also performed by the participants.
