Digital India Week (1 July – 7 July 2015), a program to transform India into Digitally empowered Society and Knowledge Economy, is an e-governance plan initiated by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to ensure that government services are available to citizens electronically. Department of Electronics and Information Technology (DeitY), Govt of India has declared first week of July as “DIGITAL INDIA WEEK” to prepare India for a knowledge future.
